Rev. Joel McCalister grew up in Dallas, and he is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. In college, his life was redirected after a personal encounter with Jesus. This life-changing conversion experience would lead to his subsequent calling into the gospel ministry. He went on from there to further his preparation for pastoral ministry by earning a Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University.

Pastor McCalister is committed to his calling of service for Christ. He loves preaching and teaching God’s Holy Word. He is a people person who is passionate about accepting people where they are and then helping them grow in their faith and in their walk with the Lord.
